Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility

    1. Programs are open to students entering 4th through 9th grade. Parents or legal guardians must complete registration on behalf of minors and agree to all program and payment terms.

  2. Program Registration & Payment

    1. Registration must be completed via the Site. Program fees are due in full at the time of registration unless financial assistance has been requested and approved.

    2. Registration remains open until the cast has been finalized.

    3. The full program fee is $850. This includes all scheduled rehearsals and participation in the final production.

  3. Refund Policy

    1. Refunds will be issued only if requested 48 hours before the first rehearsal, minus a $50 administrative fee.

    2. No refunds will be given after rehearsals begin, regardless of attendance, illness, or withdrawal.

    3. If TKLA cancels the program, full or prorated refunds may be provided.

  4. Attendance Policy

    1. Students are expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals, unless previously excused.

    2. More than two unexcused absences may affect a student's role or participation in the performance.

  5. Dress Code

    1. To ensure safety and allow full participation:

      1. Students must wear school-appropriate clothing.

      2. Closed-toe shoes (no sandals, Crocs, or flip-flops) are required.

      3. Clothing must allow for movement and dance.

  6. Behavior & Code of Conduct

    1. Students must treat all instructors, peers, and property with respect.

    2. Bullying, disrespect, or repeated disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

    3. TKLA reserves the right to remove any student from the program without refund at the discretion of the leadership team.

    4. By registering, families acknowledge and agree to all program policies and behavior expectations. TKLA may update policies as needed and will notify families of changes.

  7. Health & Safety Policies

    1. Students showing signs of illness must stay home. If a student becomes ill during rehearsal, parents/guardians will be contacted for immediate pickup.

    2. All emergency contact information must be up to date and submitted at registration.

    3. All injuries must be reported to staff immediately.

  8. Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Late Policy

    1. Students may be dropped off no earlier than 5 minutes before rehearsal begins.

    2. Pick-up is required promptly at 6:30 PM.

    3. A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After 6:45 PM, families will be charged:

      1. $15 for the first 15 minutes late

      2. $1 per minute thereafter

      3. Repeated late pickups may result in dismissal from the program.

  9. Photography & Media Consent

    1. By enrolling, you consent to TKLA using photos or videos of your child for promotional or archival purposes.

    2. If you do not consent, you must notify us in writing before the first rehearsal.

  10. Intellectual Property

    1. All content on the Site, including logos, photos, program materials, and curriculum, is the property of TKLA or its content creators and is protected by copyright laws.

  11. Changes to Offerings

    1. TKLA reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel any program elements (including rehearsal dates, casting, or show content) with appropriate notice. We are not responsible for events outside our control (e.g., acts of nature or public health emergencies).

  12. Limitation of Liability

    1. TKLA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Site or participation in the program, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  13. Governing Law

    1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
